Summer isn't over yet! There's still time to try these awesome recipes...

Can you believe we're at the end of July already? Summer is going by in the blink of an eye!

That means prime grilling season will be over before you know it. And while I grill outside all year, it's a lot more fun sitting outside in shorts with a cold beer in hand than bundling up in a heavy coat and hat to grill dinner.

So while the weather is still perfect for grilling, I wanted to share a few of my favorite recipe articles that you might have missed. If you decide to make any of these dishes at home be sure to drop me an email and let me know how it turned out. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Tequila Lime Chicken is one of my most requested recipes from the family. It's super easy to make and everyone in the house loves it. The one thing I DON'T like about: there's never any leftovers!!

If you have a griddle, try making some homemade Smash Burgers! They're fun to cook and a nice change from your standard grilled burgers. I make Smash Burgers on my Blackstone but if you don't have one you can always use a cast iron griddle on top of your grill.

Traditional burnt ends are made with the point end of a brisket, but that can be expensive. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative try my Hot Dog Burnt Ends. They take only about an hour and a half to cook and they're the perfect appetizer or side dish when you've having company.

Speaking of side dishes, I reached out to a number of food bloggers and asked them for their favorite BBQ side dish recipes. So if you're tired of the same old macaroni salad, try some of the 2 dozen recipes listed.

Ok, that's all I've got for today. Talk to you soon and in the meantime...happy grilling!

Mike
